Many patients want a beautiful, confident smile that comes with straight teeth. Some teens and adults find that traditional metal braces are an excellent option, but an increasing number of people opt for the more discreet method of Invisalign®. Aligners from Invisalign are made of clear, thin material and are designed to incrementally adjust tooth alignment until they reach their ideal locations. If you're interested in a healthy, straight smile, but don't want to deal with the challenges of metal braces, the Invisalign advanced orthodontics system from our full-service team at Made Ya Smile Rayford may be right for you.
It's not just about getting a straight, gorgeous, more balanced smile — the truth is that straight teeth are easier to clean and maintain. Invisalign and Invisalign Teen are nearly invisible solutions that can help you and your family overcome orthodontic issues. We're happy to report that our patients find Invisalign clear aligners to be a comfortable and easy method. These aligner trays make it simple to brush, floss, and eat, as they can be easily removed when necessary. Our modern full-service practice is proud to offer this advanced solution that uses cutting-edge technology to resolve common orthodontic problems like crowding, bite misalignment, and gapped teeth. To find out if you or your teen might be a candidate for Invisalign orthodontics, reach out to our Spring, TX multi-specialty practice today to schedule a personalized consultation with our orthodontist.
Younger patients sometimes need a discreet method of straightening teeth just as adults do, and Invisalign Teen may be the perfect option for them. Designed to accommodate the unique needs of your teen, these nearly invisible, comfortable, removable aligners can help those who are self-conscious about wearing metal braces or let your teen continue to play sports or instruments that may carry a risk of injury if traditional metal braces are used. Because compliance issues can arise due to the fact that these aligners are removable, Invisalign Teen provides blue indicator dots on each tray that fade with proper use. These dots make it possible for you, your teen, and our team to partner together and ensure the aligners are being worn properly to achieve ideal smile results.
"EXCELLENT place to go to. I can't say enough on how accommodating and welcoming everyone is there. From the very moment I walked in, all anxiety of seeing a dentist for and my kids were put at ease. The dentist, my poor memory to recall his name, not only fun to look at, but was really knowledgeable about all my neurotic concerns. We will be going back and recommending to everyone we know."- C.H. / Yelp / Mar 11, 2020
"I have been seeing Dr. Green for many years for my cosmetic dentistry needs. There is no Dentist whose opinion in matters of Dentistry I value more. As a matter of fact, i had an emergency need JUST prior to my wedding day a few years back...and Dr. Green fit me in LAST minute and took care of my issues perfectly so that my stressed out wife (Most Importantly) and I were confident in my ability to shine for our wedding day photos. I will follow Dr. Green to whatever dental practice he happens to be. Thank you again sir!"- S.D. / Google / Feb 21, 2020

Best Candidates for Invisalign
If you want to achieve a straighter, more even smile without the annoyance of wearing traditional metal braces, Invisalign clear aligners may be an optimal treatment for you. Customized for each individual patient, Invisalign clear aligner trays should be worn for at least 20 hours a day to ensure your desired results. With this innovative treatment, you can get the smile you want without any noticeable orthodontic appliances.
Many factors can affect jaw and teeth alignment, like genetics, thumb-sucking, trauma to the mouth or face, tooth loss, and developmental concerns. Worn or chipped teeth, jaw and facial pain, a receding gumline, and other concerns can arise from tooth misalignment. Without a properly aligned bite, your ability to bite, chew, and speak comfortably may also be affected. Depending on your unique needs, Invisalign may help improve your bite (how your upper and lower teeth fit), oral health, and smile. Invisalign and Invisalign Teen can correct problems with the bite, crooked/crowded teeth, spacing, protruding teeth, and rotated teeth.
What To Expect with Invisalign®
A comprehensive oral evaluation can help our orthodontist determine if Invisalign is the right course of treatment for you or your teen. We will take 3D cone beam images of your head, mouth, and jawbones along with digital impressions of your upper and lower teeth when you come in for your consultation. These images will help us decide if Invisalign is the best option, and if we proceed with this treatment, these scans and impressions will be sent to our special software that allows our orthodontist to craft your personalized treatment plan. A series of clear, custom aligner trays is how Invisalign gradually moves teeth to their proper places. Our partner Invisalign lab custom-makes your trays to match your exact treatment needs. Once your trays have been created and arrive in our office, you'll come back to try on the first set. At that visit, we will provide specific instructions for wearing your aligners.
Each set of aligner trays will be worn for two weeks, and it's essential to wear your trays in the order established by our orthodontist. This makes it easy to trade each set our for the next in line after each two-week period and keeps you on track with your progress toward a straight, beautiful smile. Visits for monitoring your progress and making adjustments as needed will be scheduled with our orthodontic specialist every 4 – 6 weeks. Typically it takes about a year to complete treatment with Invisalign and Invisalign Teen, but individual times can vary depending on your unique needs.
You will need to wear a retainer once your active orthodontic treatment with Invisalign is complete. A retainer works by holding your teeth in their new place until the jaw stabilizes. Custom-crafted Invisalign Vivera® retainers are made from the same clear, comfortable material as your aligner trays. We will explain how to properly care for your retainer daily and when you should wear your retainers. For the first few months after your Invisalign treatment, you will need to wear your retainers all the time. It's essential to strictly adhere to the recommendations for retainer usage given to you by our orthodontist. Failure to do so can cause a relapse in tooth positioning. Invisalign is an investment you make in your smile and continuing to follow recommendations for retainer usage after the active treatment stage helps protect it. When you visit Made Ya Smile for your routine cleaning and exams, we will monitor your bite and tooth position.
